International Academic Competitions is pleased to announce that the 2025 Online Spring Science Bee Regional Finals will be held on Sunday, April 27. This tournament will run on our Alpha Science Bee Question Set, and is open to all students who have qualified for it through the Online Regional Qualifying Exam (ORQE)!

UPDATE April 17: This tournament is now running on a later start time, and the tournament at the times as listed below will only be open to students in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Caucasus Region. Students in Europe and the Middle East who are unable to make the new start times may compete with students from throughout Asia and Oceania at the originally listed start times as posted here on the IAC Asia website.

Please note that this tournament will run on the Alpha Science Question Set, and students looking to compete in it should thus review the 2025 Alpha Set International Science Bee Study Guide.

The ORQE is free of charge, and you can take it at any time. It is scored automatically, so you will know immediately if you have qualified. To take the ORQE, teachers or parents who will be giving their student(s) or child(ren) the exam must first register here. Once they have done so, they will be sent the link to the ORQE, and then students can then take the exam at any point as long as they are being proctored / invigilated by their sponsor.

Please see the Resources Page on the menu bar for examples of Science Bee questions.

The cost to compete in the Online Spring Science Bee is $35 USD per student; this must be paid in advance.

Top players in each division receive medals for Online Bee tournaments. Please note that it will typically take 1-4 months for awards to be received, as awards can only be handed out at in-person IAC tournaments or, on a limited basis, shipped. However, please note that shipping is only possible to the EU, UK, and Switzerland, and awards can only be shipped when our Executive Directors are physically in those countries.

Registration for this tournament is now open here for qualified students and will run through April 21. For further questions, please contact the International Academic Competitions European Director, Ms. Nolwenn Madden at nolwenn@iacompetitions.com. Thanks for your interest in our tournament, and we hope that you and your school will be able to join us!
