Note 1: The International Science Bee Qualifying Exam and the International Geography Bee Qualifying Exam are two different exams which are offered during the lunch breaks of tournaments. Each costs the price listed. Students may do both (in which case, they must pay the Exam fee twice).

Note 2: If you wish to pay for a tournament in a currency other than the ones listed here, that is allowed, but please contact david@iacompetitions.com to find out the equivalent price. The equivalent will be computed through the rates quoted at www.xe.com as of the invoice date.

Note 3: Teams paying by wire transfer must include an additional payment of 35 USD as stated to cover processing fees. All wire transfers must be paid in US Dollars, namely, the amount we receive must be the amount owed in US dollars, plus the transfer fee. If your bank charges additional fees, these must be taken into account in addition to this. One wire fee covers all the teams and students per school.

Note 4: At in-person tournaments, you are only permitted to pay in US dollars or the currency of the country where the tournament is taking place. For online tournaments, all payments must be made by wire transfer (and thus in US dollars) or by credit card.

Note 5: Please note that at in person tournaments, History Bowl teams of 2 students cost 2/3 of the price listed here, and solo student teams cost 1/3 of the prices listed here. Such teams must be registered as such; the discount otherwise does not apply. For online tournaments, the rates listed in that table apply for teams of 1 or 2 students.

Note 6: The definition of a fee-charging school is one that charges tuition fees for any students to attend. For a school to claim the tuition-free school price, ALL students who attend the school must be receiving free tuition.

Note 7: Payment for History Bowl teams at in-person tournaments must normally be made by cash at the tournament or by wire transfer. In certain cases, IAC may allow schools to pay by credit card. If this is the case, payment must be made in US dollars, and a 5% processing fee is assessed to cover credit card and administrative costs. If you are interested in paying by credit card for a particular tournament, please contact david@iacompetitions.com
