International Academic Competitions is pleased to announce that the 2026 Online Gold Set Geography Bee will be held on Sunday, April 12. This tournament will run on our Gold Geography Bee Question Set, and is open to all students!
Uniquely, students competing in this event will have the chance to play against players in North America! Students in Asia, Europe, and Africa will compete in this event by division solely on a birthdate basis as follows:
Born before September 1, 2009: Varsity
Born between September 1, 2009 -August 31, 2011: Junior Varsity
Born between September 1, 2011 -August 31, 2012: 8th Grade
Born between September 1, 2012 -August 31, 2013: 7th Grade
Born between September 1, 2013 -August 31, 2014: 6th Grade
Born between September 1, 2014 -August 31, 2015: 5th Grade
Born between September 1, 2015 -August 31, 2016: 4th Grade
Born after August 31, 2016: 3rd Grade & Younger
The cost to compete in the Gold Set Geography Bee is $50 USD per student; this must be paid in advance.
Registration for this tournament will open soon for qualified students and will run through March 31.
