The International History Bee and Bowl ran its first History Bee and Bowl of Northern England at the Mercia School on Sunday, March 1, 2020 in Sheffield, United Kingdom. This tournament ran on our Beta set of questions, and was open to all teams, students, and schools including those from outside the United Kingdom, who had not yet played our Beta set for the 2019-2020 academic year. During the lunch break, students had the opportunity to take the Championships Qualifying Exam for the International Geography Bee as well.
