International Academic Competitions is pleased to announce that the 2025 Immerse Education Online Geography Bee of Europe and Africa will be held on Friday, 21 March. This tournament will run on our Gamma Geography Bee Question Set; students competing in this tournament should review the Gamma Set Study Guide, as well as past International Geography Bee European Championships questions to prepare (please focus on those, not the multiple choice exams available at the top of that link, as the European Championship questions will be in the same format that we’ll be playing here).
This tournament is being held in partnership with Immerse Education, a leading provider of international student study and enrichment programs. Please visit their website at www.immerse.education more about their programs.
Please note that to compete in this event, you MUST fulfill all of the following criteria:
1. You MUST have formerly participated in a past Immerse Education program or be registered for a future Immerse Education program.
2. You must not be among the players who played the Gamma Geography Bee Question Set in Fall 2024.
3. You must be currently enrolled in a primary or secondary school, or in a comparable homeschool program.
4. You must be living in the following areas: Europe, Africa, Middle East, Caucasus, Central Asia.
Then, you must do BOTH of the following to be considered registered:
1. You must fill out the Geography Bee Registration Form on this page. If you are competing in multiple Immerse Education Bees this same weekend (History is offered on Saturday, 22 March; Science is offered on Sunday, 23 March), you must fill out the different registration form for each respective competition.
2. The cost to compete in this tournament is $36.75 USD per student (i.e. $35 plus a 5% credit card processing fee); this must be paid in advance through the Geography Bee payment link here.
Registration for this tournament is now open here for eligible students and will run through Thursday, March 13. For further questions, please contact the International Academic Competitions European Director, Ms. Nolwenn Madden at nolwenn@iacompetitions.com. Thanks for your interest in our tournament, and we hope that you and your school will be able to join us!
